- In the days when the famine was in Ireland there was a man who wanted a twenty stone bag of flour and he had no means of getting it unless some man carried it on his back. It was a distance of ten miles from Waterford.
At last one man offerered to carry the flour for him. So he went into the city and got the flour put it on his back and carried it on his back home.
When he was half way home he sat down by the wayside to have a rest and he fell asleep and dreamt that the famine was over but his dream did not come true.- Informant
