    mother bird comes home to her nest she hatches the eggs and brings forth her young.
    The robin is a small bird. She builds her nest in a small tree. The robin lays four or five eggs in her nest. She is a sign of the weather. When the robin is sitting on a bush singing it is the sign of good weather, and when she is hiding under a bush not singing it is the of bad weather.
    The crane is a very big bird. She has a very long beak. When the crane flies with the wind it is the sign of good weather and when she flies against the wind it is the sign of stormy weather.
    The old women of this district do not like the magpie because
