    she steals the eggs and she steals young chickens also.
    The magpie is a sign of the weather. If you saw one magpie out in the field by herself it is the sign of bad weather, and if you saw two magpies it is the sign of good weather, because if weather is bad one magpie stays on the nest to keep the eggs dry and warm. If the weather is good the two birds go out off the nest.
