  1. Churning
    We have a churn at home. We churn every week. It is made of wood. There is a dash with a piece of wood on the top of it with holes in it. There is a lid on it, and a hole in the centre of it which the dash comes through when churning. The dash comes up two feet over the lid.
    The wood of the churn is painted a dark green, and the hoops are painted black. The height of it is three feet and the circumference is a foot ans a half. It was made by a cooper thirty years ago, and is still as fresh as ever. It is a dash churn, and it holds sixteen gallons of mild for churning. Some churns are a very large size, and are difficult to move around but our churn is a medium
