On the third slab is:- Erected by a bereaved mother to the memory of her second beloved son, Arthur Jeffrey Ffrench, who departed this life on the 30th April, 1852, in the 19th year of his life. Also to her fourth son, John Nugent, who departed this life on 25th August 1851, aged 9[?] year.
Blessed is he whom thou hast chosen and taken to thee, he shall dwell in Thy courts.
One by one they have departed
'Till alone and broken-hearted
I have nothing left but fears.
One by one they faded from us
Like the flowers in autumn time,
Till the last bright bud of promise
Withered ere it reached its prime.
But we have a hope immortal,
One that will not, cannot die,
