  1. One night, as my Grandfather was coming home from a card party, he heard a distant rumbling of thunder, coming slowly towards him along the road. He sensed danger, so he jumped behind the ditch and waited to see what was coming.
    He waited for a while and the rumble passed him and as it did he beheld a ghostly funeral passing by towards Garryricken House. Beads of perspire gathered on his forehead as he recalled an old verse.
    "Look out look out at the dead of night.
    Before your eyes you'll see a sign
    A funeral to Lord Ormond's door
    When eer an Ormond is no more
    My Grandfather ran home as fast as he could and told nobody of his ghostly
