    Michael Vaughan Carrick St. Nicholas Kickham then living at the Square and John Norton Fethard St. were the personnel of the deputation. The matter was finally settled the tenants getting a certain length of time to purchase their holdings.
    The evictions took place about 50 years ago.

    Despard of Killaghy Castle was landlord of Killaghy and Fethard St. Wright - a member of whose family married Despard had property in Kickham or Chapel St. Constable of Rock Lodge, Carrick St. was landlord of Carrick St. as well as 100 acres of land in the vicinity.
