- Once upon a time there lived a man by the name of Michael Cash. He was a great man for playing the Bag Pipes. He came from Co Wicklow twice every week to a house in Ballinaslaney belonging to the late Henry Whitty. It is now occupied by Mr. Michael Redmond. He belonged to the travelling class. The boys and girls came from all around to hear him play the bag pipes.
