- One bright night a farmer who lived in Cross was coming home late from Virginia Fair.
He was passing through Quilca and he saw men playing football in a big field.
They were very silent but they moved about very quickly and played a good game.
He stood on a ditch watching them and he saw their faces clearly.
All of them were people long dead and gone. The man became frightened and hurried home where he fainted when got inside the door.- Collector
