  1. Many years ago, a man called Tomas Gillick was fishing along the strand of Quilca lake. He saw a black calf feeding along the lake. He brought home the calf and kept her till she was a cow. She stocked all his land for him. Then he sold her and all his stock began to die. Then he had to bring back the cow again and she stocked all his land for him again. Then he kept her till she died.
