    Candle-Making:-
    1 Three cotton threads were placed for a wick.There was a master mould the exact shape of the present candle.At the point where the wick now projects there was a small hole in the mould .Through this they put the wick ,which had a knot at this end to prevent it slipping through.At the other end of the mould the wick was tied to a nail which was placed across the mouth of the mould .So fixed the mould was placed standing in a sod of turfand the tallow was poured in.The whole was then put outside to cool.When cool,the knot
