    On the borders of this parish (but in Cratloe parish)in Cratloe Moyle there is a rock near the gate leading into Punch's Corcass where mass was celebrated in the Penal Times.

    The present church in Meelick is the renovation (1905) of the previous one which was contracted for by Larry Frost of Punch bowl.
