    to a broken-winded horse to eat. Nettles are cut up small and boiled and given to fowl with meal. Speedwell is drawn like tea and given to the person with the yellow jaundice to drink. Yellow-root is used for poisoning salmon by leaving it in lime for a day. This is the way it is used. Put it into the pool where the salmon are and it will poison them. The thistle is used for feeding pigs. Cut it up and steam it in meal. Chicken-weed and comfry are used for feeding cows.
