- The village of Taghmon (Teach Munna) is an ancient historical place.
One of the many interesting places in the district is the Meeting House. This house is situated by the road to Glynn about half a mile from the village.
There are no windows on the side facing the road. It is surrounded by a high wall; with a big iron gate, which is always locked.
The old house is almost in ruins now for it has not been used for a great many years. It is said, in Taghmonn that nobody could live in that auld house on account of noises at night.
In front of the house is a graveyard with large headstones, but there is no inscriptions on them.
This house was used long ago by Quakers(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
