- A great cure to prevent "fouls" in cattle, and a very simple wan and you'd never think it is this:
Go out in the field, and bring a spade with you. Bless yourself first in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Then dig a cross on the ground - not a very big wan. Then cut around the cross, like a circle, and lift the whole lot out with the spade. Then turn the sod back in its place, but the grassy side down and the clay side up.
You'll never have fouls in a beast in that field anymore. Bless yourself again when you have that much done.
