“There was a king wan time and had three sons.”

There was an old witch living about a mile from the palace and she heard of the King's illness and she went to see him. She was allowed to see him all right, but only for a few minutes. She told him that there was nothing in the world would cure him but a few drops of water that was in a well in a far off distant land.
