Then the old people shook their heads and said that he would never have a day's luck in it. But of course he said that was all nonsense. He lived in the house for some time and he found that luck had turned against him. One morning he got up and he found a cow dead, and another morning when he got up he found that there was a valuable horse dead. Things went on like this with him for a long time and no matter what he would do he would find the animals dead in the morning.
