    I was another night out for a walk...

    I was another night out for a walk when I was on my holiday down in Fethard, and as I was passing by a farmer's place, I heard great screaming not far away from me. I never heard the like of it before. I went on home and I was telling them there what I heard, and they told me that it was the bow who was keening over old Mrs. Devereux, as they told me that she followed that family. Anyhow whether that was the case or not this old woman died the next day.
    We were another night coming home from a dance and I heard the very same same screaming at the top of the hill. We noticed that as we we were listening to her she was moving on in the direction of the sea, and finally she came to
