  1. In our district some days are looked upon as unlucky days. Tuesday and Thursday are supposed to be unlucky days for giving cures.
Monday and Friday are lucky days for working such as ploughing and building houses.
Friday is always a lucky day for flitting on. If anyone flits to a new house on Saturday he will not stay long in that house, for the old saying is "Saturdays flit is a short sit".
