Folklore
Long ago when the Protestant Church was built at Gortavilluan, the Protestants wouldn't have service in it unless there would be a corpse buried in the grounds.
A poor man was after burying his mother-in-law in Molahiffe church yard and the protestants gave him a few pounds to take the corpse to the protestant church and bury it there. The poor man of course wanted the money and he consented to it.
So himself and some neighbours made up the plan to come to Molahiffe church yard and take an old coffin and bury it in the Protestant church.
