The name of my home district is Drumdaff. My Townland is Cloonara. My Parish is Kilbride in the Barony of Ballintubber
There are fourteen families and sixty five people living in my district. The family name most common is Hickey
Most of the houses are thatched. There are people over seventy years living here. They
are John Kelly, Mrs A Hickey, Mrs K Hickey and James Ganly but none of these people know any Irish and they are not able to tell any story in Irish or English.
There were more houses here long ago and there are not many of the houses to be seen now. The people emigrated from here to America and other countries(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
