She say as they all came in she divided the potatoes among them and they were all agreeable and satisfied. People in those days were very particular about how and where they built their houses - If they were building new house they would build it further back that the old house not further front. They wouldnt build across ridges in the field. They wouldnt build across a path for fear they would be interfering with the people of the other world who be passing the way. People that didnt believe in that saying would not live their houses. After building them they heard all kinds of strange noises.Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
- My home district is call Gour. It got its name years ago because the people who lived there then kept alot of goats for the hills were good for pasturing them. Where ever the goats were moved out of it into neighboring hills they always came back to Gour again. There are six houses in Gour and I remember when there were seven houses in it.
