    From those Gaels do not like to be

    And with a hearty "good night"
    Sure they went out the door
    To look for their bikes up in
    Wild Curraghmore.

    The bikes they were standing outside
    at the wall,
    But the devil a lamp was
    left on them at all,
    For some jealous fellow who was
    oft there before,
    Slipped off with their lamps up in
