    Johnny McAdoo and me and McGee,
    And another two or three,
    Went for a spree one day.
    We had a bob or two and we knew what to do
    And the beer and the whiskey flew
    And we all felt gay.

    We visited McCanns, Humpy Dan's
    We then went down to swans
    Our stomachs for to pack.
    We ordered quite a feed which indeed we did need
    And we finished it with speed
    But we still felt slack.

    We ordered eggs and ham bread and jam
    Such a cham
    But him we could not ham we tried our level best
    Everything we bought cold or hot, matter not
