  1. Nails - There was a man living in Glann (Kilkelly Co. Mayo) named Michael O'Grady he used to make nails for all the people around, and continued to make them until his death about a dozen years ago.
    Blacksmith - Patrick Callaghan of Sinolane (Kilmovee Ballaghaddereen Co. Mayo) is a blacksmith. He makes farm implements i.e. ploughs, harrows, tyres for carts, spades, shovels, loys, gates and he mends all these things too. he makes tongs, grates, cranes. pot hangers etc. and mends these things also.
