  1. `Weather Lore
If the sky is red in the East it is the sign of storm.
A cat with its back to the fire is the sign of storm.
A rain-bow in the sky is the sign of rain.
Dogs go into a dark corner if there is going to be thunder and lightning.
If the swallows fly low we will have rain and if they fly high it is the sign of good weather.
If seagulls fly inland a storm is about to begin.
A great number of crows flying together is the sign of storm.
The wind from the east brings the most rain to this district.
When it is in the north we have snow or sleet.
When the wind comes from the west we have good weather and when it comes from the south we have not much rain or storm.
