    Make lofty ships carry low sails.
    The evening gray and the morning red,
    Makes the fisherman shake his head.
    A circle round the sun or moon is a sign of a storm.
    A rainbow in the morning is the shepherd's warning.
    A rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight.
    The wind blowing from the south, south east or south west is the sign of rain.
    The wind from the east is the sign of cold, dry weather.
    The South East wind brings the most rain here.
    The apperance of the Northen Lights is a sure sign of a storm.
    Birds fly high when there is going to be fine weather, and they fly low for bad weather.
