  1. One night a man was coming home late from a fair. The night was unusually calm. He heard a rustling sound at one side of the road, and looking around, he saw leaves going round in a whirl. Still there was not a puff of wind anywhere. After awhile he heard a voice saying "Come, come".
Then he fell into a swoon, and when he woke, he found that he was at home.
He was told afterwards that if he went into the midst of that whirl that he would meet his death, because that was a Sidhe Gaoithe.
