  1. The Church has seven Sacraments
    Which we must all believe
And three, they are more requested
    To know and to believe.
    Baptism washes out the sins
    Which Adam did commit
The sins which we ourselves have done
    Confession will remit.
    Eucharist we know
To be the body and blood divine
Of Jesus Christ, both God and Man
The form of bread and wine.
    In Confirmation, we believe
    The Holy Ghost is given
In Extreme Unction we get grace
To die and go to Heaven.
In Holy Orders priests are made
And get both power and grace
    And Matrimony blesses those
    Who married life embrace.
All praise and thanks to Jesus be
    And to His Holy Bread
    Unless we have the Sacraments
    The source of every good.
