  2. A diúchán can be made out of a straw. A bit of straw is got and cut at two joints. One joint is cut off and at the other cut is made below the head to form a tongue. Also a strip of skin is sometimes slipped into the barrel and held on the outside by the fingers when blowing it. Three holes are put below the tongue to play it.

  3. A pop gun can be made from an elder stick. A round bit of a stick is got and a hole is made by scooping out the pith
