   In the townland of Cavan Lower is a large number of whins known as the "Rocks", and in these rocks are numerous stones that came from Norway and Sweden during the time of ice. There is a large stone halfway down the rocks and the track of a giant's hand is on it, and it is believed it came from Norway or Sweden during the time of ice and snow.
