  1. When we are playing cans of water we pick out four people to play the game and call them by their own name such as Arthur, Thomas, John and Sidney.
Two catch their hands and two others catch their hands over the other's hands and sway back and forwards and sing.
    Weigh the cans of water
    For the lady's daughter
    The sun goes high
    And the moon goes low
    And dear little John
    Come under my bow
Then John goes under the hands of the other three. Then they repeat the same thing or[?] again till the whole four are in the ring together then they jump round and sing. "Jags Jags a bundle of rags till they are tired.
