parish in Egan's field. The people go down on their knees, and they creep round the well a few times and they pray while going round. Then they wash their hands and face with a cup of water out of the well. There are trees and bushes growing round it and they tie a piece of cord on them when they are finished. If a person had a disease they would go to perform to get cured. They go to perform in the month of July. It is called Bran's Well.
