  1. "Balloons"
There is a field called "Balloons" in Lisnacody. At present it is owned by Mr. Paddy Carr. The old people of the district say that in ancient times this field was a graveyard for unbaptized children. This certainly seems to be true as there are several small mounds through the field. On many of these mounds is laid a flat slab of stone.
Lisfinney was also a graveyard for unbaptized children. It is about a quarter of an mile from the village of Eyrecourt. It is now in the hands of a protestant named Mr. O'Neill. No mounds mark this field. Cattle and sheep graze there now.
