  1. Once upon a time there lived near Drumherrin a girl named Maggie Flynn. One day she was asked to take care of a neighbour's child. She went to the house and took care of the child. When she came home that night she went to bed and in the morning her father and mother said that "it was not their child was in it atall". All the neighbours were coming in to see how and they said it was not Maggie either. The woman of the house boiled the juice of fairy fingers and offered it to her but she would not take it. She then told them that their child was brought away with the fairies, and also told them about other children that were brought away too. She told them to carry her down to a little house at the foot of a hill on a door, and that they would have known their child back in the evening. They did
