  1. The local names of the roads are the White-road, the Black-road, the Aughalocky road, the Letter-road, and the Lisgavneen road. The White-road leads from Carrick on Shannon to Manorhamilton. The Black road leads from Killavoggy bridge to the Lug-more colliery and on to the Roscommon mearing. The Aughalocky road leads from the White-road to the black road. The Litter road leads from Drumkeeran town to the Black-road. The Lisgavneen-road leads from the White-road to the Black road.
