    Monday and Thursday are considered lucky days.
    Cures are made on Monday and Thursday.
    Tuesday and Saturday are unlucky days for beginning work such as ploughing, house building or changing from one house to another. It is considered unlucky to plant potatoes on Holy Thursday or Easter Monday.
    People in this area plant potatoes(first planting) on Good Friday.
    The last days of March and the early days of April are considered the "Days of the Old Cow" because of their harshness.
