    principal rivers of the lake and the water rose six or seven feet and covered McCrann's roads. He had no boat to bring him to land for support for his family.

    Sometime later he was able to purchase a boat which made him Lord of the island. When he had Lord Leitrim defeated the called himself Robinson Crusco the Lord of the Island.
