    a fence fight ensued. Beirne flew home as fast as his feet could carry him. Next morning he found his own bull, tied up as he had left him, but he was all wet and his neck was broken. The fairy cattle had brought him to his death and left him back dead.
    This man also lost a great many cattle by stabling them in a ruins of a saints abbey at Fenagh. They all died mysterious deaths.
