  1. A cure for the toothache.
As St Peter sat on a marble stone
Jesus came to him all alone,
    And said to him "Peter
    What makes thee ache?"
O Lord and Master, the toothache,
Arise Peter and be thou healed,
    And not thee alone
    But any person or persons
Who says these words is memory of me for my sake
shall never be troubled with the toothache.
A cure for the chin cough.
    With the Bishops Skull
This skull, which has the vault off, is owned by a certain family in templefort?? Parish, Co. Cavan, and when a child is ill with the cough it is brought to the people who leave the skull out for a night when it is raining. In the morning the four small hollows are full of water. This water is given to the child to drink three times in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
