  1. (1) Cur for Heart Disease
    Get a cup of oat meal. The oat mea has to be fried and the sufferer has to take every grain of the meal. If he drops one grain the power of the cure is broken. Some prayers accompanying this cure.

    (2) Cure for Whooping Cough
    The sufferer is put under the bell of a she ass three times by the man who makes the cure and the patient says prayers. While doing so, the man who makes the cure says prayers also. A member of the John Galligan (Soundy) family in Curraghnawall has the cure for this disease.

    (3) Cure for a Sprain
    Goose-seam is rubbed to the joint which is sprained. The goose-seam must be warmed before it is used and must be rubbed in for ten or fifteen minutes two
