  1. In a fort in Scairt were two rows of trees, surrounding the fort. On each Good Friday people came to the fort between 12 and 3 o'clock and went around in a circle saying Rosaries. They came to this fort instead of going to the Chapel. Unbaptised infants were also buried in that fort. The people used move slowly praying and so doing used make a circle around the fort. The practice ceased about 63 years ago.
