    There are many forts in the townland of Glenageenty. Far across the glen there is a fort surr-ounded by trees in a lonely place. It is called Kielbawn fort. It was said that there was an old chaple there because the ruins of it can be seen at the present day. It is said that there were Dominicans there once. There are ruins of old graves there.
