  1. The old people tell us about the OConnors who lived at Garrahies, and from which many OConnors in this parish have descended. He owned camp from sea to sea. He was a very brave and strong man. As a proof of his strength, one day his men were taking cattle to Currans fairs and a big able man by the name of Spring refused to let the cattle in until he would collect
