  1. During Sam's reign as Landlord there lived this woman in Moglass. Sam promised her money to improve her houses. One day she saw him in front of the house. She had some bacon hanging up. She ran out and she was so much afraid of Sam's keen eye that she flung it into a hole of sink in the yard. She had made an appeal to Sam also to lower her rent, and if he saw the bacon, he might raise the rent and say she was too well off.
