  1. It is supposed that there is a foal's skin of gold hid in Gneevguilla. It was put there by a very rick man by the name of Whelan. He told a neighbour of his that it was there and he made an attempt to find it but he failed. In the border of the country it is said that there is a lot of gold there. It was put there by the Fitzgeralds when they were fighting in Ireland. They hid it under a big rock. It is said that two men made an attempt to find it but they failed to do so.
