    Long ago candles were made from tallow. This was got either from the fat of the cow or the goat. The fat of the cow was melted on the fire and then turned into moulds, with a wick in the centre in the shape of the candles.
    Long ago baskets were made of sallies or ash.
    Clothes were dyed in olden times with some things that were got in the bog.
