  1. There are vey few old houses in this parish at present. The government are giving a grant and the most of the people are taking advantage of it. There are still a few very old houses through the country. There is one in the townland of Coom. There is only one apartment in it where they sleep cook and live. It belongs to Jermiah Moynihain. There is another one in Knocknageeha at present. Up to thirteen years ago all the poor people had only the kitchen to live, sleep and cook and so all things in it,
