    Shirts are still made in the homes and the cloth used is flanelette.
    Socks and stockings are also knitted locally but the thread is not now spun in the homes.
    Special types of clothes are worn on certain occasions. Black clothes are worn at the death of a near relative. At weddings, and festive gatherings clothes of the gayest colours are worn.
