- John Murphy Culleeneymore Beaufort, born about 1870 died 1935 was a first cousin to C. OShea. Son of a large farmer who lost all his possessions during the Land war to grabbers - he lived a lonely life in a small cabin in a bog not far from his father's farm which was now occupied by a Protestant grabber.
He describes himself aptly thus: -"Foxy John he next comes on
He works at every trade
Watches, clocks and mason work
And from that down to the spade".He composed funny rhyme about local events, and he also composed the Skellig's List.I knew those three men personally.- Collector
